If I am creating, I’m happy. I am full of so much joy when I am given the opportunity to collaborate with other creative souls. I started this journey in 2013 and I have not taken my foot off the pedal. I am represented by Linda McAlister Talent in Dallas, Texas, and have worked in theater, film, and television. In my very first commercial, I worked with Baseball Hall of Fame Inductee Nolan Ryan!
I am a graduate of the New York-based Tom Todoroff Conservatory and have also studied with Nancy Chartier of Nancy Chartier Studios in Dallas, Texas. I am fortunate to have been in acting masterclasses with Austin Pendleton, Jessica Hecht, Will Wallace, Mary Lou Rosato, Nick Westrate, and Tony Award Winner Miriam Silverman. In addition, I have done voice work training with Patrick Mulryan, Andrew Wade, and Julia Lenardon.
I am married to the talented jazz percussionist Andrew Griffith and lucky to be the mom of Taylor Powell. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Prairie View A&M University and a Master of City and Regional Planning from the University of Texas at Arlington.
